Description

Blue Water Rafting has been offering high adventure tours since 1985 and are one of the few to take explorers to the spectacular Kanaio Coast at the southern tip of Maui. These excursions are for those who are more adventurous and anyone with recent surgeries or previous or current back or neck injuries, or pregnant women will not be permitted on board. Their boats are fast, rigid-hulled inflatable rafts that are powered with environmentally friendly, smoke free, twin Honda 4 stroke 225 HP outboard motors and they carry up to 24 passengers. All tours depart from the Kihei Boat Ramp, rain or shine. Inclement weather is usually temporary and rain gear is provided. If the rare occasion occurs where the Captain deems the conditions unsafe, a full refund will be provided.

Molokini Express

Enjoy snorkeling at the world-famous Molokini crater without the morning crowds. This tour departs later in the morning and reaches Molokini in about 15 minutes, arriving as most of the other snorkel tour boats are departing. Blue Water Rafting provides snorkel gear for you to discover the abundant marine life that presides in these protected waters. You will have over an hour to explore the inside and outer reef and/or the backside of the crater where the wall plunges to 300-400 feet deep. Non-alcoholic beverages are also provided.

Kanaio Coast – Departs Daily

This tour takes you to the remote southern coast of Maui where a 200 year old volcanic vent formed spectacular lava arches, grottos, and sea caves. This area is not accessible by car and few people brave the sharp lava hiking trail so the beauty is pristine and mostly untouched. Don’t forget your camera to capture these stunning, picturesque views! After exploring Kanaio, you’ll cruise to La Perouse Bay, where you will often witness the playful, frolicking Spinner Dolphins. Depending on the conditions, you may be permitted to snorkel at the La Perouse Pinnacle, which is teeming with fish, and, if you’re lucky, you might have the incredible fortune of swimming with the dolphins. After La Perouse, you’ll make one more stop at a popular sea turtle habitat where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch buffet and more snorkeling. Although endangered and protected, these turtles are accustomed to snorkelers and won’t shy away from a camera.
