Description

Take a guided van tour of Haleakala and see why some call it the eighth wonder of the world. At over 10,000 feet above sea level, this dormant volcano is a world unto itself. At the summit you can peer down into the moon-like landscape of the 3,000-foot deep crater. Take in the rare and unique beauty of the Silversword plant, which is found nowhere else in the world and keep an eye out for the Nene goose, Hawaii’s state bird. Learn about many rare and endangered species of plants and animals from your certified guides as they offer their extensive knowledge of the botany, geology, history and culture of this spectacular place.

Haleakala Sunrise Tour

Embark on an exciting and informative sunrise adventure onboard a comfortable 25-passenger bus. After sunrise the tour will take you to Upcountry Maui to see Haiku, Makawao, and Kula. Then to the North Shore to Ho’okipa and Paia. This tour ends at 10am so you’ll have the remainder of the day to go back to your favorite area or to a North Shore beach and take in more of Maui’s beauty.
